Using these around a home theater is great - no wires tangled everywhere tugging on the game system all the time. Battery lasts a long time, the controls are as fast and responsive as wired. The controller is pretty light which makes it seem cheap, but in practice it's nice to not have the weight dragging you down while you play. Some people like the vibration support of other controllers but I feel it would suck up too much power from the battery.
