PlayStation 3 Wireless Sixaxis Controller

The Playstation 3 Sixaxis controller is a streamline, light, and easy to use product. The controller itself is very light, which makes it easy to handle and fun to play with. Your hands fit nicely over the buttons and so you don't have to worry about "losing" a button during a hardcore gaming session. The controller itself has a batter built into it, so there is no need for a cord. You can play up to 15 feet away. The only cord that is needed is used to charge with controller by plugging the controller into the Playstation by way of a USB cord. The battery life is exceptional and will last for weeks on end. The charge time is not very long either. The controller still works while its being charged so there is never really a sense of having to lose a controller. The controller will take some punches before you have any problems.

Buy this product, you will not be disappointed. Get more detail about PlayStation 3 Wireless Sixaxis Controller.

PlayStation 3 Wireless Sixaxis Controller Review

This controller works great, in fact as great as any PS3 controller I've seen out this far. It's the exact same controller you get with the PS3, what's to say? The only bad part, is that Sony doesn't put a USB cord to go with it.Get more detail about PlayStation 3 Wireless Sixaxis Controller.

PlayStation 3 Wireless Sixaxis Controller Top Quality

Good controller and can't beat the price. It's just the right size and very light. The sixaxis has some room for improvement but games are starting to use it better now. I don't really care about rumble so this was a good buy.Get more detail about PlayStation 3 Wireless Sixaxis Controller.

PlayStation 3 Wireless Sixaxis Controller This instant

On the plus side, the Sixaxis is identical to the one in the PS3's box, so no surprises.

I bought one because I wanted to play two-player now. But if you can wait, I would. Sony did a 180 on its "rumble is last-generation" and will soon release the DualShock 3, which adds rumble, and hopefully as a side-effect, a bit more weight than this too-featherlight controller has.

If you can't wait for DualShock 3, here's the quick summary on the Sixaxis:
1) Control and comfort: Very good. Layout and responsivelness are very similar to the original PS2 controller. Too light, though.
2) Design annoyance 1: Unlike the Xbox 360 controllers, the Sixaxis doesn't turn itself off after a period of non-use. So if you leave your PS3 on playing media or doing Folding At Home, the controller will stay on till it runs the battery down unless you remember to use the menus on the PS3 to turn it off.
3) Design annoyance 2: The battery isn't removable, so you'll have your excuse for buying a DualShock 3 when the battery on your Sixaxis stops recharging after a period of time.
4) Design annoyance 3: You can recharge it while you play, but the cable that Sony includes is only 3 feet long. Who sits 3 feet from a TV big enough to show off the PS3?

If you need a controller -now-, it's the best game in town, because third-party controllers seem to all omit some key features, such as motion control. But if you can wait, hold out for DualShock 3.

PlayStation 3 Wireless Sixaxis Controller Best Quality

Well, this is the standard controller that comes with the PS3. I do wish that it had the rumble feature, but it has 6 axis control as well as wireless use. It's a nice controller.

I'm sure Logitech will come up with something better for a lot less eventually, though.Get more detail about PlayStation 3 Wireless Sixaxis Controller.

PlayStation 3 Wireless Sixaxis Controller Get it now!

This controller is wonderfully light and the rechargeable batteries, which come with the controller-unlike the 360, last for over 30-40 hours for me so far. I don't miss the rumble feature, someone said it was took out for legal reasons, but obviously a controller that's shaking can't detect your hand movements well. In my experience, when most people are really into a game they don't notice the vibrating feature at all.Get more detail about PlayStation 3 Wireless Sixaxis Controller.
