I have a few problems with this controller, even though the overall design is still the same as the one that made the Playstation controller the best in the industry. First of all, this controller is WAAAAY too expensive. I had a problem dropping $30 for a PS2 controller and now they want $50?!? Sure they're wireless now and come with an internal battery, but gone is the rumble (which I didn't think I would miss, but I actually do). Removing the rumble feature does have one benefit (which I believe Sony cited, but I can't recall when or where) - this controller is EXTREMELY light weight. Compared to my PS2 Logitec wireless controller, it's like playing empty handed. Anyway, this is what Sony gave us, so it's really a matter of 'take it or don't get a PS3'. Controller is still great, but, unfortunately, a step back from late PS2 controllers. Get more detail about PlayStation 3 Wireless Sixaxis Controller.
