This controller is great. It is very lightweight but don't be fooled because they can take a beating and keep working. This controller is streamlined and slimmer that previous versions. It is rechargeable via USB cord that plugs into your PS3. It holds a charge for a very long time. I only have to charge it once every 3-4 days and you can even play while it's charging. It does come with a USB cord but it is fairly short. It also has tilt sensors built into it and many games are starting to use this feature more and more. I consider it a big improvement to the previous controller on PS2.
